John the Baptist said two things about Jesus: “There is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” and “He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.” We need to know Jesus in both these ways. We will study the Gospels, the Book of Acts and the Epistles, addressing the controversies and bringing clarity by laying a firm foundation from the Scriptures concerning the Holy Spirit.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Originally from South Africa, Hamilton Filmalter has known and loved the Lord Jesus since his childhood. At the age of 15 he received the baptism in the Holy Spirit at a Baptist Church youth group. He graduated from Hatfield School of Theologh in Pretoria in 1984 with a BA Theology degree. As a preacher and Bible teacher, he is involved in evangelism and church planting in several countries, especially in pioneering situations.
